In this site you can play chess online with either other human players or bots. If you are a newcomer, enter a name, which you want to use, password, and your e-mail. This will register you as a new DARK CHESS user. If you already are a registered user, just enter your name and password, but don't enter e-mail. This will simply log you on.

JFreeChart library which we use for generating chars was causing problems recently so it was replaced by Google Charts. Now chart generation should be faster. Also charts now are displayed directly in the page instead of popup windows.
Have you ever been frustrated because some players earn big rating, get to the top of the best players list and never go down because they simply do not play with that nick any more? Today we have created top active players statistics page. Now anyone can be in the top 10 list! This list contains 10 best players in each rating category. Difference is that only players who have played last games go to that list. So if you have played very last game on this server you automatically enter the top active players list no matter your rating. List is sorted by rating so to get to the very top is still not trivial task. But this is as it should be. You can also see the change of player position in the list compared to the yesterdays list. Please note that new statistics page is reloaded automatically and in real-time. There is no need constantly click refresh button of your browser.
Command /top now shows only active users i.e. users which played at least one game in last 30 days. Please note that blitz rating is used in /top command. New command /banned for showing banned users in given channel was implemented.
When you are logged in you can see your own email and connection parameters in user statistics page. Your email and connection parameters are not visible to other users.
